Aragorn (1999) is written for a duo of classical guitar and violin. Its is in a classical crossover style: accessible with diverse influences from jazz, fusion, pop, film music and contemporary classical. It is a challenging piece for the performers, but, although the notes may look difficult, once you start to play it, you'll find it is fun to play and not as hard as it looks.
I have included a complete live recording of the piece so you can get an idea of what it sounds like. Although a live performance is rarely flawless, you'll get a better idea of what the piece sounds like than a computer-generated midi file.
